As part of longer term assignment I have been able to advise a major Broadband LTE product manufacturer on compliance with EU LV Directive 2014/35 and UK Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 for bespoke production test systems. I identified some gaps in supplier testing and made recommendations to resolve this. I was able to specify suitable equipment for in house test and product validation. The test method & test report template needed to be documented. I was able to complete the exercise by identifying training needs for safe use of the equipment.
